    Jon Wilkenfeld is a leader in healthcare compliance and has been consulting in the field since 2002. He is an established subject matter expert on compliance topics, including aggregate spend and state law reporting, compliance auditing and monitoring, and drafting of compliance policies.

    At Potomac River Partners, Jon has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients such as Top 5 global pharmaceutical companies, mid-sized pharmaceutical and device firms, early-stage biotech organizations, and organizations that support life science companies such as contract sales forces and meeting logistics suppliers. He has authored articles published in Rx Compliance Report, Pharmaceutical Executive, and Compliance Today and is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry conferences.

    Prior to launching Potomac, Jon was a Senior Manager at Polaris Management Partners and a Strategy Consultant with Accenture. Jon has an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Cornell University.

  • Dan Koerner   

    Director

    Dan Koerner provides a wide range of compliance services, with expertise in pharmaceutical compliance documentation, training, and auditing & monitoring. He has broad experience working with different organizations, including multiple companies operating under Corporate Integrity Agreements. Dan has led engagements developing policies and procedures, conducting live and retrospective audits, and providing training on numerous compliance topics, ranging from the PhRMA Code to GxP Compliance.

    Dan has been working in the Pharmaceutical industry since 1998 and has experience in a wide range of concentrations including Training, Auditing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Production, and Pharmacovigilance. He has authored an article published in Rx Compliance Report as well as presented and moderated at industry conferences.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners in 2008, Dan was a Consultant at Schering-Plough and has also worked for Wyeth, Hoffmann-LaRoche, and Genzyme Biosurgery. Dan received his BS in Biology from Seton Hall University

  • Michael Young   

    Director

    Michael Young provides a broad range of compliance services, primarily focusing on aggregate spend initiatives and the creation of compliance policies and procedures. Michael also brings experience conducting speaker program monitoring and developing content for training courses covering the requirements of Corporate Integrity Agreements, the PhRMA Code, as well as GXP and Sunshine Act requirements.

    His aggregate spend experience includes working with more than a dozen companies to conduct gap analyses, develop roadmaps, document requirements and business positions, author employee and physician training and communications, and conduct data integrity audits to prepare clients for data submission. Michael has recently been involved with assisting clients through upgrades or migrating to new vendors, which has included full program assessments, test planning and ensuring proper documentation is in place for potential future audits. Michael was the primary author of two Codes of Conduct and has worked on editing and updating the Compliance policies for two pharmaceutical companies within the Top 50. Recently, Michael created documentation aimed at standardizing the approach to resolving potential conflicts of interest. He has previously developed presentations for industry conferences on a number of topics, including a three-minute multimedia summary of the Sunshine Act.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners in 2009, Michael began his career as a consultant with Ernst & Young in their Health Sciences Advisory Services practice. Michael received his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

  • Adam Oakley

    Adam Oakley possesses a comprehensive compliance background supporting a range of life science companies, providing advice and solutions for clients and projects of various sizes.

    He has worked extensively on documentation projects, including creating documentation frameworks, scoping and developing policies and procedures (SOPs), reviewing and revising compliance manuals, and performing gap analyses. He also helped establish the T&E monitoring protocol for a contract sales organization, has provided auditing services and advised on corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), and assisted in producing a broad spectrum of training courses.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners in 2011, Adam was a member of the Communications & Compliance team at Flagstar Bancorp where he worked on policies and procedures for the banking industry. Adam received his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

    Carla-Marie Ulerie provides a wide range of compliance services, with expertise in pharmaceutical compliance documentation, training, and auditing & monitoring. Carla-Marie has assisted clients with developing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, executing mitigation plans, and providing training on various compliance topics. She also has experience delivering Independent Review Organization (IRO) services in accordance with client CIA requirements and evaluating the sufficiency of systems, SOPs, and policies.

    Carla-Marie has been working in the Pharmaceutical industry since 2008 and has experience across a number of compliance topics, including corporate governance, investigations, auditing, and reporting.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners in 2016, Carla-Marie was a Manager at Provident Management Consulting and has also worked for Huron Consulting Group and Blank Rome LLP. Carla-Marie received her MBA in Finance, JD, and BBA in Information Systems from Howard University.

    Graham Rich provides a broad range of compliance services focusing on compliance training and aggregate spend initiatives. Graham brings experience developing training courses for general compliance topics, including Sunshine Act requirements.

    Graham has been involved in aggregate spend data integrity analyses for multiple companies. Recently, Graham has assisted clients with Sunshine Act data submission requirements, including, but not limited to, error remediation, customer master clean-up, and facilitating the development and implementation of a sub-certification process. He recently assisted development of Potomac’s Open Payments Highlights Infographic. Graham also analyzed and summarized Open Payments data specific to companies’ requests. .

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners, Graham worked as a Business Development Intern at Corner Stone Healthcare in Highpoint, North Carolina. Graham received his BA in Economics from Wake Forest University.

    Meredith Swartz has been consulting in healthcare compliance since 2008. Meredith Swartz combines her experiences in communications strategy and graphic design to bring a range of messaging, branding, and creative services to Potomac River Partners.

    Meredith has led a “brand story” for a client’s aggregate spend initiative, created and developed the design for Codes of Conduct and Compliance Policies, created visually appealing communications, and has helped bring numerous training programs to life.

    Meredith has worked as a designer in a variety of industries including healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, and nonprofit, while leveraging her strategy experience to build brands, craft marketing campaigns, define user experiences, and develop corporate collateral programs.

    Meredith began working with Potomac River Partners in 2008. She received an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Chicago and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan.

    Spencer Rasmussen provides a broad range of compliance services, primarily focusing on aggregate spend and compliance training. Spencer is also responsible for performing data integrity audits on companies’ Sunshine Act data, scoping and developing policies and procedures (SOPs), and researching new developments in compliance.

    Recently Spencer assisted in the development of a company’s compliance field guide, incorporating more than a dozen policy subject matters. Spencer also conducted a samples documentation gap analysis and assisted in producing a broad spectrum of training courses. Spencer led the data analysis for a presentation delivered at the 2015 Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress on “Using Company-Specific and Open Payments Data to Ensure Accuracy and Gain Insights” and played an integral part in the creation of the Potomac River Partners 2014 Open Payments Infographic.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners in 2014, Spencer worked as an Accounting Analyst for West Bay Exploration Company in Traverse City, Michigan. Spencer received his BS/BA in Economics and Art History from Duke University.

    Chris Hull recently joined the Potomac River Partners team and is primarily responsible for researching new developments in compliance as part of our monthly news summaries, performing analysis of the CMS data, and developing policies and procedures.

    Chris has worked on developing a concise compliance Field Guide by summarizing a company’s existing compliance policies. He has also helped companies develop compliance policies on more than a dozen topics. Chris also played an integral part in the creation of the Potomac River Partners 2015 Open Payments Infographic and performed company specific Open Payments data analysis as part of our Snapshot offering.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners, Chris worked as a Strategy/Finance Intern for TransRe in New York, New York. Chris received his BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

    Shannon has helped develop training modules on topics such as Communications with Healthcare Professionals, Compliance with federal laws and codes, and code of conduct training.

    Prior to joining Potomac River Partners, Shannon worked as a Marketing Intern for Thermo King in Minneapolis, MN and as a Development Intern for Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Shannon received her BS in Business Marketing Management and a minor in Finance from Virginia Tech.
