Analyst

Our Analysts are our most junior team members who assist primarily with completion of a defined workstream or individual project tasks. Among other responsibilities, our Analysts lead the creation of our annual Year-in-Review and supporting monthly Compliance News Summaries, complete retrospective monitoring such as T&E and speaker program reviews, help implement and build out training courses, and work on aggregate spend and transparency data analyses. Our Analysts also help ensure deliverables meet Potomac internal standards by being responsible for specific quality control-related tasks.

Consultant

Our Consultants typically have 2-5 years of industry experience and are often promoted directly from our Analyst role. Our Consultants must have demonstrated a strong understanding of compliance risk areas and proficiency in at least two of our service lines. Consultants perform a wide-variety of project tasks including drafting policy content, creating monitoring dashboards, building training solutions, and provide live monitoring support including ride-alongs and speaker program reviews.

Manager

An experienced management consultant within the life science compliance industry, typically with at least 5 years of directly relevant work experience. Our Managers lead medium-sized to smaller project engagements and/or spearhead a significant workstream on a larger engagement. Managers often work autonomously at client sites, with limited Director-level oversight. Our Managers often have domain expertise within a specific service line such as transparency operations or the creation of standard operating procedures.

Sr Consultant Job Description

Director

An experienced management consultant, with deep expertise in compliance issues facing life science companies, typically with at least 8-10 years of direct, prior experience in compliance consulting. Our Directors are responsible for heading at least one practice area at Potomac such as Live Monitoring or Aggregate Spend data analytics. Directors also act as account supervisors with our clients, providing day-to-day oversight responsibility of project teams and serve as the primary contact point. Our Directors often act as the engagement project manager, especially for larger engagements.
